A beautiful, hand edited video will be delivered along with your proof gallery. The moments we capture at Maxwell Studios are sure to be family keepsakes for so many years to come. Children know us as "the camera people that say poop!" They know they are coming to a place that feels safe and fun! We even have tricks with teens as we have a few of our own. 6'7!

How long does a typical photo session last?


2026 Mini Session Themes ~ 10-15 Minutes

Private Family Mini Session ~ 30 Minutes

Full Family Session ~ 1 hour

Extended Family Session ~ 90 Minutes


Between the two of us, we have over 20 years of working with children and photography. With our experience, we are confident in the amount of time allotted per session to deliver a gallery of memories that you will cherish for your entire life.

How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?


We understand the excitement of seeing your final photos. We're excited to go through your precious moments too! Proof galleries are sent to your email within 48 hours of your session, if not the next business day! If sessions take place on Friday evening or Saturday, galleries will be sent out the following Monday. Our editing process typically takes 1-2  weeks, depending on the volume of images, busy season {August ~ November} and the complexity of editing required. We prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional portraits and videography that exceed your expectations!

When should I book my session?


I release  the next year's mini sessions every year during our Black Friday Super Sale Week!

I typically book 6 months to 1 year out. Fall is always my first to book starting the week of Black Friday as well. Please inquiry as early as possible for fall availability.


Do you offer discounts?


Yes! We offer 10% off for all First Responders and Military! We also offer a 10% cash discount if you would like to bring a cash payment for the remaining balance. All booking retainers must be made through our online system.

What types of photography services do you offer?


We offer a wide range of photography and videography services, including family, maternity, newborn, children, and senior portraits. We specialize in capturing meaningful moments and creating stunning fine art portraits!

Maxwell Studios also offers event photography!

We only take on 2 weddings per calendar year, including destination weddings!

We would be happy to provide you a custom quote upon request!

How do I book a portrait session with Maxwell Studios?


Booking a photography session is easy! Simply click on the contact page or message me on the Facebook page and let us know the type of session you're interested in. We'll guide you through our process and find a convenient date and time for your session.


Are there any additional fees?

Yes, a $100 re-opening fee will be applied to your account if portraits are not chosen within the allotted time.

Additional portraits may be purchased for $20 each.

Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?


Absolutely! If you decide to book a Full or Extended Family Session, the location is completely your choice! We love capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you. If you book a private Family Mini Session, your location will be set in the vicinity of the studio. There are several different areas within a 5 mile radius that we adore shooting at!


What all is captured at a session?


During every session we shoot, we capture both posed and candids of family togetherness, moments of the kiddos together, individual portraits, and parent shots as well!
